Word on the streets are plenty of Jap cars are coming in via neighboring borders. Rare model Skylines to Hatchi Roku style Toyotas even the pass for citizenship. It’s becoming somewhat easier but why do some still get held back by customs? Some say it’s a mystery. To get a Skyline in the country is like getting a personally signed document from the president’s office.

We thought we’d do some research on the Wangan Skyline, but we needed somebody we could trust. We took an old friend who dates back with Raceweb a few years as a model.

According to her, the only thing proudly South African about this ride is its number plate, the rest will take some border line espionage. But for now we’ll admire the city lights & streets of gold. Meet Monique Africa. Let’s do some catching up.
