The drags had the majority of the crowd support and entrants for the day and some quick times. Some of the regular racers had entered as well with Zaki Hendricks running his Type-R tec, who also mentioned that the track was well prepared for the racing, as there was loads of traction. Off the launch the revs would drop and take him out of vtec and would ultimately affect his times for the day, his fastest time being 14.83, some Nos should sort out the problem ;) Ben Greyling was a few splits away from the 9’s with a shit your pants time of 10.06, hot on his slicks was Willie Nel with an impressive 10.36 and Tolla Daniels with a 10.72
